Rise early this morning to travel to the Uluru sunrise viewing area. Watch the first rays of the sun set the
Red Centre alight while enjoying a warming cup of tea or coffee.
Then you travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta.
On the way, stop at a lookout for a panoramic view of the southern side of Kata Tjuta.
Continue on before arriving at the base of Walpa (meaning windy) Gorge.
Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations.
Your guide will take you on the 1hour walking trail through Walpa Gorge which follows the natural creek between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta.
You will hear stories of the local flora and fauna and the geology of this amazing formation.

On arrival, set out on the Walpa Gorge Walk, following a rugged path that winds between towering red cliffs. As you explore, your Driver Guide will share insights into the geological history and cultural significance of this sacred site. Take in the unique flora and fauna that thrive in this remote environment and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this awe-inspiring location.
Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre
Visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, where you’ll gain a deeper understanding of Anangu culture including Tjukurpa; traditional law and the spiritual connection between the land and its traditional owners. See informative exhibits and locally made art, and learn about the ongoing efforts to preserve and respect this World Heritage-listed area. Grab some lunch as you spend some time wandering (own expense.)
Uluru Base Walk and Kuniya Walk
The final part of your journey takes you partially around the base of Uluru, starting with the Kuniya Walk. You’ll walk alongside the base, stopping to view rock art, Mutitjulu Waterhole and other culturally significant sites. This enriching walk reveals Uluru’s hidden stories, making for a truly unforgettable cultural experience.

Your adventure unfolds with a 5.4 kilometre trek into the enchanting Valley of the Winds, a sanctuary nestled amidst the heart of Kata Tjuta's domes. Guided by the gentle rhythms of the creek beds, journey into a timeless realm where nature's majesty reigns supreme. Join us for an unforgettable exploration of Kata Tjuta, where every step is a testament to the enduring legacy of the land and its people. After the walk take in a magnificent outback sunset while relaxing with Australian wines and light snacks.
Please Note - This walk can be challenging over rocky ground and requires a good level of fitness, but is well worth the effort. (Shorter walks are available for those not wanting
to walk to the second lookout.). You need to bring your own water bottles (2L per person), wear sturdy walking shoes, comfortable protective clothing, a hat and sunscreen.

Departing the resort the tour will travel through the landscape to the entrance of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. From there is it a 40km journey through the desert landscape to the mighty rock formation.
On arrival at the viewing area you walk to the best vantage point to see the 36 domes that comprise this spiritual place while watching the sun s morning glow as the desert comes alive.
We make our way to the western side of Kata Tjuta where you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy an outback picnic breakfast.
As you approach the entrance to Walpa Gorge (named for the wind, Walpa, that whistles between the massive domes that shape Kata Tjuta, the result of eons of weathering and continual upheaval) your guide will share the significance of this men s sacred ceremonial site.
We take a stroll between these mighty conglomerate rock walls as your guide explains how the environment and the geology has evolved over millions of years.

geological formations showcasing awe-inspiring scenery.
Your guide will tour you through this sacred men's area where you will see a diverse range of flora, and learn about Europena history of this amazing region.
